Duties and Responsibilities:
The University of Tennessee Libraries seeks a creative and self-motivated individual to provide direct services and assistance in The Studio, a multimedia production lab during the third shift.
During overnight hours, this position is responsible for services in The Studio, including assistance with media software and equipment, reservations and check-in, and circulation of digital equipment. Supervises student assistants and provides security to the area.
Required Qualifications:
Completed 2 year’s college; demonstrated knowledge of computer applications for multimedia design and development, particularly through the use of industry-standard software tools for graphics design and video editing. Demonstrated experience with both Macintosh and Microsoft platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, especially in a field related to multimedia production, design, or teaching. Experience in teaching, supervision, or public service.
Experience using computer applications for multimedia design and development, including iMovie and Photoshop. Experience using digital cameras, video cameras, and other audiovideo equipment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work independently.
